1. About the Prize Draw

1.1. These Terms & Conditions govern the ZenEssence January Retreat Free Prize Draw ("Prize Draw").

1.2. The Prize Draw is organised by ZenEssence ("we", "us", "our").

1.3. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1.4. Entry into the Prize Draw is completely free. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter.

2. Opening and Closing Dates

2.1. The Prize Draw opens on 1 October 2026.

2.2. The closing date for entries is 17 December 2026 at 11:59pm UK time.

2.3. The winner will be selected at random on 17 December 2026.

2.4. Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the Prize Draw.

3. The Prize

3.1. There will be one winner.

3.2. The winner will receive one complimentary place at The January Rest & Reset, a ZenEssence wellness retreat taking place on:

Sunday 17 January 2027
Hove Yoga Studio, Hove

3.3. The prize includes one place at the retreat only.

3.4. The prize does not include travel to or from the venue, accommodation, or any personal expenses associated with attending the retreat, unless expressly stated by ZenEssence.

3.5. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another service.

3.6. The prize must be used for the January 2027 retreat stated above and cannot be transferred to another retreat, event or future date.

3.7. If circumstances beyond our reasonable control mean that the retreat cannot take place as planned, ZenEssence reserves the right to offer a reasonable alternative arrangement or alternative prize of equivalent value.

4. Who Can Enter

4.1. The Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.

4.2. Employees of ZenEssence, anyone directly involved in organising or administering the Prize Draw, and their immediate family or household members are not eligible to enter.

4.3. Only one entry per person is permitted.

4.4. Entries submitted on behalf of another person, multiple entries submitted by the same person, automated entries, bulk entries or entries generated through automated systems will not be accepted.

4.5. ZenEssence reserves the right to disqualify any entrant where we reasonably believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached or where fraudulent, dishonest or abusive activity has taken place.

5. How to Enter

5.1. To enter, participants must complete the official ZenEssence Prize Draw entry form and provide:

Their full name; and

Their email address.

5.2. Entrants must confirm that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable Privacy Notice.

5.3. Entry does not require the entrant to purchase any product or service, attend an event, make a payment or subscribe to a paid service.

5.4. There is no alternative paid method of entry.

5.5. ZenEssence is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or not successfully received.

6. Marketing Communications

6.1. Entering the Prize Draw does not automatically subscribe an entrant to ZenEssence marketing communications.

6.2. Entrants may separately choose to opt in to receive marketing communications from ZenEssence, including information about retreats, ceremonies, events, services, offers, new products and other wellbeing experiences.

6.3. Any marketing consent will be obtained separately from acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

6.4. Marketing consent is entirely optional and is not a condition of entering the Prize Draw.

6.5. Entrants may withdraw their marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe facility included in our marketing communications or by contacting ZenEssence.

7. Personal Information

7.1. ZenEssence will collect and process entrants' personal information for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw, managing entries and contacting the winner.

7.2. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the ZenEssence Privacy Notice.

7.3. We will only use entrants' information for additional marketing purposes where the entrant has provided appropriate separate consent or where another lawful basis for such use applies.

7.4. Entrants should review our Privacy Notice before entering the Prize Draw.

8. Selecting the Winner

8.1. One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received before the closing date.

8.2. Every valid entry will have an equal chance of being selected.

8.3. ZenEssence will use a random selection process designed to ensure a fair and unbiased result.

8.4. Where a computerised random selection process is used, ZenEssence will retain appropriate evidence of the random selection process.

8.5. ZenEssence may retain a copy or record of the eligible entry list and the draw process for the purpose of demonstrating that the Prize Draw was conducted fairly.

9. Contacting the Winner

9.1. The winner will be contacted by email using the email address provided when entering the Prize Draw.

9.2. ZenEssence will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner.

9.3. The winner must respond within 7 days of the date on which the notification email is sent.

9.4. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, cannot reasonably be contacted, is found to be ineligible, or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions, ZenEssence reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.

9.5. The prize will only be awarded once the winner's eligibility has been reasonably verified.

10. Winner Information

10.1. ZenEssence may make available information indicating that a valid award took place, ordinarily the winner's surname and county, in accordance with applicable promotional marketing requirements.

10.2. Entrants will be informed of this possibility at or before the time of entry.

10.3. Entrants may object to the publication or availability of their personal information, or request that a reduced amount of information is made available, by contacting ZenEssence.

10.4. Where an entrant objects or requests reduced publication, ZenEssence will consider the request in accordance with applicable data protection and advertising requirements.

10.5. If required by the Advertising Standards Authority, ZenEssence may still be required to provide relevant winner information to the ASA for the purpose of demonstrating that a valid award took place.

11. Publicity

11.1. With the winner's permission, ZenEssence may ask the winner whether they would like to provide a photograph, testimonial or social media content relating to their experience at the retreat.

11.2. Participation in any such publicity is entirely optional and is not a condition of receiving the prize.

12. General Conditions

12.1. ZenEssence reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, submitted using automated means or otherwise does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

12.2. ZenEssence will not accept responsibility for technical failures, website failures, internet connection problems or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control that prevent an entry from being received.

12.3. ZenEssence reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Prize Draw where circumstances beyond our reasonable control make this necessary.

12.4. Where reasonably possible, any significant change to the Prize Draw will be communicated to entrants.

12.5. These Terms & Conditions will not be changed in a way that unfairly disadvantages people who have already entered, except where such a change is necessary due to circumstances beyond ZenEssence's reasonable control.

12.6. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Social Media

13.1. The Prize Draw may be promoted through social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.

13.2. The Prize Draw is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or any other social media platform.

13.3. Entrants release the relevant social media platform from responsibility in relation to the Prize Draw to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Governing Law

14.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

14.2. Any disputes arising in connection with the Prize Draw shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.
